Experience
Jeffery G. Ashin joined Paul Christian in 1982 and founded the firm Christian & Ashin in 1986. Jeff practices law in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Jeffery has extensive courtroom experience, trying thousands of jury trials and bench trials in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia. He has also tried hundreds of workers’ compensation cases before the Workers’ Compensation Commission of Maryland, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the District of Columbia Department of Employment Services. He has appeared in claims before the Maryland Court of Appeals, Maryland Court of Special Appeals, and District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
Jeffery has been recognized as one of the Ten Best Personal Injury Lawyers in the State of Maryland by the AIOP. He has also earned a coveted rating of Highly Skilled and Ethical, BV, by Martindale-Hubbel. Jeff has extensive experience dealing with all of the major insurance companies in Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia. He has secured many millions of dollars in compensation for his clients. He is a “court-trained” mediator, participating as a courtroom mediator in the District Court for Prince George’s County in their Alternate Dispute Resolution Program. He has also participated in hundreds of mediations and arbitrations.

Jeffery earned a B.A. degree in political science, with honors, from Muhlenberg College. He was awarded a Juris Doctor from the American University Washington College of Law in the District of Columbia. He is a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States of America, Maryland Court of Appeals, District of Columbia Court of Appeals, and the federal bench in both Maryland and Washington, DC.
Jeffery holds membership in the Maryland State Bar Association, District of Columbia Bar Association, and Prince George’s Bar Association. He has volunteered his services as a moot court judge at the Washington College of Law and Catholic University Law School. He has judged and participated in moot courts among high school and college classes in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Experience
Timothy Brown’s specialties are litigation and trial work. He has represented thousands of clients. He has appeared in nearly every court in Maryland on behalf of his clients during his more than 20 years of practice, including trial work in the district and circuit courts of nearly every county in Maryland as well as the federal courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia, and the District of Columbia Superior Court.
Tim has been an active contributor to the legal community.

Tim graduated from the University of San Diego with a B.A. in political science. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in the field of commercial transactions.

Jason B. DeNardo is an experienced criminal and civil trial attorney, who has represented plaintiffs in hundreds of personal injury cases throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia. He has also tried hundreds of workers’ compensation cases before the Workers’ Compensation Commission of Maryland and the District of Columbia Department of Employment Services. As a litigator, Jason has been a zealous advocate for his clients since 2012.

Charles Lamari is an experienced civil trial attorney, handling a variety of personal injury, criminal, real estate, and landlord-tenant matters. Prior to joining Christian, Ashin & Brown, P.C., Charlie was an associate attorney at a renowned Bethesda, Maryland law firm where he handled hundreds of trials and hearings throughout Maryland’s state and federal courts. After law school Charlie served as the judicial law clerk for the District Court of Maryland for Montgomery County, where he clerked for all 10 of its sitting judges. Charlie drafted opinions, conducted legal research, and wrote memoranda for all matters before the court, including contested large claims, small claims, and landlord-tenant disputes.
Charlie’s background in hospitality gives him an intense dedication to client service, which you see through his zealous advocacy. He focuses on helping his clients effectively, creatively, and energetically with superb attention to detail. Charlie is precise and analytical in his practice of law.
